Wrapping up Christmas

Well it is hard to believe that Christmas is over.  I'm looking forward to a better year in 2011 as I am sure we all are.  I am posting a few of the Christmas cards I did as well as the favor boxes I made for some gift cards.  I will note the inspiration for the cards where I borrowed or CAS'd ideas from others.  Hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed making.  I have to do some New Year's cards soon.  Hopefully I will get them posted in the next few days.  And last but not least I had to post some recent pictures of my "spoiled rotten baby" Jackson.

This is a picture of the favor boxes I did to hold the gift cards for my stepdad and my brother in law.  They are both avid hunters.  I used the deer from PTI Masculine Motifs and the holly berry from PTI Merry Little Christmas.  The cardstock is PTI Fine Linen.  I got tons of compliments on them.  I think they turned out pretty cute.

This is one of several Christmas cards that I sent out.  I used the tree die from PTI as well as the PTI Tree Trimming stamp set.  The sentiment is from WMS and the brads are from Basic Grey.

These two are pretty much the same with the exception of the Snowflake size, both snowflakes are from PTI Snowflake Serenade.  I am pretty sure I saw this card from a previous post on Nichole's blog.  I used the text background stamp and embossed with Filigree White and a sentiment from PTI Signature Christmas stamped in Versa Mark.  The cardstock used is PTI Ocean Tides.

I fell in love with this card when I saw it on Ashley Cannon Newell's blog.  She is awesome!  I made a few minor changes based on stamp sets that I had, but this was by far my favorite.  The snowflakes are from PTI Snowflake Serenade. The die cut is from Spellbinders cut out in PTI Hawaiin Shores felt and the ribbon is PTI Vintage Cream twill.  Oh, and the patterned paper is Bitty Dots by PTI of course.

Jackson with his Christmas bow.

Jackson smiling for his picture with his red bandana.  He is such a sweet boy!!!!!

Well that is all for now.  I had a lot of catching up to do.  I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday.  All was well here, we even had my first White Christmas.  All of it hasn't melted yet and Jackson keeps going out on the deck, laying down, and eating the snow.  Which leads me to post one last pic of Jackson in the snow.

Goodnight all,

  2. Great idea to use the deer stamp on the treat box/gift card holders. Your use of Snowflake Serenade on the Christmas cards makes me think I oughta move that set up higher on my PTI wishlist. Beautiful! And the pics of Jackson are wonderful. He certainly looks like a happy boy!
