My Sister's Zebra Birthday card

I made this card for my Sister's birthday. She loves zebra print stuff so I used The zebra background stamp from Market Street Stamps and used the new PTI canyon clay ink for the background and the Layerz Mat Stack 5 in rustic cream with The Happy Birthday fro Think Big Favorites 12 in PTI dark chocolate ink and distressed the edges with PTI chai ink. I finished off with Hawaiian Shores grosgrain ribbon and a button. She loved it and I thought it turned out pretty cute.

Thanks for looking,

Grandmother's Birthday Card

I made this lovely card for my very special grandmother's birthday.  She is the sweetest lady and is always there for her family no matter what.  She LOVES birds so I always know what will make her smile.  Hope you enjoy.

Engagement Card

A friend of mine finally found her soul mate and he recently popped the question. I am so happy for the two of them so this is the congratulations card I made her.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  Mine was spent with my crazy family.  We put the "fun" in "dysfunctional"....lol

Sympathy Card with Photo Finishers

Haven't updated in quite some time, life got ahold of me.  I lost my best friend, Jackson, my baby for 13 1/2 years, my chocolate lab back in July and I have had some health issues for many months.  Just now trying to get my motivation back.  I can always count on PTI to help me with that.  I had a friend of my mom's that lost her mother-in-law so this is a sympathy card that I did for her.  I used the Holiday Photo Finishers & Botantical Silouhettes.

Favorite PTI Project of the Year

Over at Papertrey Inc they are celebrating their 4th anniversary.  As part of the festivities we've been asked to post one of our favorite projects.  I don't have a full year of projects to choose from and it was still hard.  But here is what I came up with.

I used PTI Embellishment and the woodgrain impression plate and the mat stack 4 die to come up with this card.  I think it is very simple and classy.  I have it to my grandmother on her birthday.

Finishing Up the Week

Good evening everyone!  Another week is almost over and another weekend is about to begin.  I have a project this weekend.  I got the Clip It Organizer and I am going to organize my clear stamps and dies on it.  I've already gotten started and with my collection this could take awhile.  I need someone to help me get my room organized.  I've just let it get away from me.  I think I have my sister convinced to help me....yeah me!  Anyway, I did a set of note cards for my sunday school class and then I did a card inspired by the wonderful Amy Kolling.  I saw her Love Birds card for the Blog Hop using the Mat Stack 5 and I had to go right way and make my own up.  I was so excited.  So this one is CASED from Amy with my own little simplicity to it since it was almost midnight.  Hope you enjoy.

Papertrey Ink January 2011 Blog Hop

This month's challenge is to dust off a set that has yet to see any ink or hasn't been used for a while.  I used my Daily Design for the heart. I have only used this set maybe one time and I'm starting to wonder what sparked me to have to have it.....lol.  The sentiment is from Embellisments.  I stamped the sentiment on PTI Fine Linen cardstock and layeryed the heart on the MFT Doily Die in Happy Spots PTI patterned paper and Spellbinders Labels 13 in PTI Bitty Dots patterned paper.  The card base is PTI Rustic Cream.
